Water Loss caused mold and bathroom damage

Even though showers and bathrooms are built to handle water and moisture, that is not true of the inside walls of a shower. This home suffered a slow water leak that went undetected for months. 

It's hard to notice water leaks behind a tiled wall inside a shower. 

In this home, tiles began crumbling and falling from moisture, which made the resident realize something is not right. When SERVPRO entered this home, it was very apparent that there was a build-up of moisture throughout the back master bathroom and when testing with the moisture meter, it was realized that the leak had caused moisture behind tile within their walls long enough to have a significant amount of mold.

To properly protect the family from harm that comes from mold, they advised all structure needed removed, dried out, encapsulated, and then repaired.
