Water Loss Before and After
In a 3 story Condominium Building, the pipes are much larger and underneath the building.
They can last for many years, however when a pipe or fitting within the piping breaks, it can start leaking slowly and not actually get noticed for weeks. As the leak worsens due to being under water pressure, more issues begin to happen which then makes tenants and property owners recognize there is trouble. However, by then, a lot of damage can have already started and may affect several tenants by then.
SERVPRO of Lake Havasu City was a first responder and it didn't take much investigation to see what had caused the trouble. SERVPRO first makes sure the water main valve is in the off position and begins to access the inside damages to this property. In these types of losses, mold is always a first concern and detecting how much water damage and how far out the leak did any damage is key. Mitigation begins once all that is evaluated. All of that is what determines how to set up for dry out and if wall cavities need dry out as well. The quicker a dry out can be accomplished and the sooner we can get moisture handled, the safer the wall cavities, will is exactly how this was handled.
After drywall is either dried out or removed then the demo gets finished and repairs begins soon after.
