SERVPRO fully rebuilds the damaged areas

There are many times that an insurance company contacts us to assess a home that another restoration provider had worked on a water loss at.
Homeowners often decide to use a newly established restoration provider to hope to get a better deal, maybe even because they know someone there at the business. So often, these providers are good responders and get right to drying a home or pulling baseboards or halfway starting a demo of the mess...
Then- they tell the customer it's dry, hand them a business card of who they may wish to call for repairs, and then leave.
This leaves the home in total disarray and the family unable to live normally so they complain to their insurance who then suggests they should have contacted SERVPRO because SERVPRO stays on the job until it is fully rebuilt or repaired and usable, all in the same insurance claim.
When we arrive, we find more mold and advise the insurance company we are unable to start repairing the home until all the mold is properly removed.
Once the family experiences the SERVPRO teams finishing the demo, removing additional mold, and then fully rebuilding their home, ourselves...
That is when the customer realizes that not all restoration providers are of the same level or quality.
